Town Centre Shopping

The town centre offers a fabulous mix of shops. Many of these are located within the Brunel Shopping Centre. The smart and spacious centre boasts a whole host of well-known national and international retailers like Marks & Spencer, House of Fraser, Zaavi Megastore, Boots and Waterstones as well as more specialist stores.

The Parade with its distinctive and decorative canopies, houses even more shops including Debenhams, H&M, Monsoon and BHS. There’s more shopping just around the corner in Regent Street and Canal Walk. Take a relaxing break from shopping in one of the many cafés, bars, pubs or restaurants.

Easy Come - Easy Go

Access to the town centre is easy with several car parks dotted around the centre. The bus terminus is a two-minute walk to the Parade and railway station close by. There is also a Park and Ride service into town.
